    DESCRIPTION

    The KYN28-12 Armored Removable Enclosed Switchgear is an indoor AC metal-clad mid-mounted switchgear designed for three-phase 12 kV, 50 Hz medium-voltage power systems. It is suitable for receiving and distributing electrical energy while providing control, protection, and monitoring for a wide range of industrial and utility applications.

    Developed in accordance with GB3906-2006, GB11022-89, IEC 298, and DL404-97, this switchgear adopts an armored metal-enclosed structure with a removable withdrawable unit (handcart type). The cabinet is manufactured using CNC processing and riveted construction, ensuring a high mechanical strength and a stable protection level of IP4X for the enclosure and IP2X when compartment doors are open.

    The internal layout consists of four independent compartments—busbar, circuit breaker, cable, and low-voltage instrument rooms—providing clear functional separation, safe operation, and excellent fault isolation. With flexible installation options, the KYN28-12 can be arranged back-to-back, side-by-side, or against a wall, improving installation convenience and reducing substation footprint.
