The Cast Waterproof Busway is a high-performance busway system designed for environments requiring exceptional waterproofing, fire resistance, and corrosion protection. Its shell is integrally cast from saturated polyester resin mixed with inorganic materials, forming a dense and durable enclosure that provides long-term protection for internal conductors.
To enhance durability and safety, light stabilizers and flame retardants are added to the resin formulation. This construction allows the cast waterproof busway to operate reliably in outdoor installations and environments containing corrosive gases, while maintaining stable electrical insulation performance. Once installed and commissioned, the system is maintenance-free, significantly reducing lifecycle costs.
With a protection level of IP68, the Cast Waterproof Busway is fully sealed against water ingress and dust penetration, making it suitable for submerged, high-humidity, or heavily polluted conditions.
Light stabilizers and flame retardants are added to the resin, enhancing the busway's resistance to aging and flame retardancy.
The resin shell can be used outdoors and in environments with corrosive gases for a long time. Adding a metal shell can further extend its service life and enhance its fire resistance and fire-proofing capabilities.
Once the busway system is installed and put into use, no maintenance is required.
The protection level of the busway is IP68.
Polyimide (volcanic ash) is used for the copper busbars of the busway to enhance insulation. The insulation class is H.
