Founded in 1956, after more than half a century, Baiqu People's Hospital has developed into a tertiary general hospital integrating medical treatment, prevention, health care, rehabilitation, teaching, scientific research and first aid. Since 2015, it has passed the teaching hospital of Guangdong Provincial General Medical College.
The hospital covers an area of 28,000 square meters, with a total construction area of 64,000 square meters and a business area of 47,000 square meters. At present, there are 1,150 beds, and 886 new beds will be added after the completion and use of the Xinmen Emergency Inpatient Complex.
